Auto Repair in Clayton, CA
The city of Clayton, CA, is located in Contra Costa County, southeast of Concord at the base of Mt. Diablo. Clayton covers 3.8 square miles of land, home to a population of about 12,000 people.
Joel Henry Clayton and Charles Rhine co-founded the town in 1857, and each wanted to name it after himself. The new community ended up being named Clayton, simply by the flip of a coin. Clayton was incorporated as a city more than a century later, in 1964. Residents today enjoy a peaceful environment with an abundance of outdoor space, including Dana Hills Park, Regency Woods Park and Oakhurst Golf Course. Such annual events as a 4th of July parade and “Concerts in the Grove” bring locals together regularly.
