So far we are aware of one serious issue – though details are still sketchy. There have been reports of 2.7L EcoBoost engine failures, and the story has it that it has to do with valvetrain issues. But there has been no official statement form the manufacturer, and there is really no solution offered, other than engine replacement if it fails. So for now enjoy your Bronco, but bring it in for regular service. Regular service is particularly important, since it’s a requirement to keep manufacturer warranty in force. Given that engine failure is a possibility, having a valid warranty is especially important.
